Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 30, 2026
Stella Labs, LLC ("Stella Labs," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to stellalabs.llc and to any web or messaging services operated under the Stella Labs brand.
Information We Collect
- Contact form submissions: the name, email address, subject, and message body that you submit on our website.
- SMS communications: your mobile phone number, the content of messages you send to us, and metadata associated with delivery (timestamps, message IDs).
- Server logs: IP address, request timestamps, and basic technical metadata, retained briefly for security and abuse prevention.
We do not use third-party analytics or tracking cookies on stellalabs.llc.
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to inquiries you submit through our contact form.
- To operate the SMS-based services that you have explicitly enrolled in — for example, to receive your messages, send confirmations, deliver previews, and confirm requested actions.
- To diagnose technical issues and protect against abuse.
SMS Messaging
Stella Labs operates small, private SMS services. End users provide explicit verbal consent in person before being added to a service. We do not solicit phone numbers via web forms, purchased lists, or third-party data brokers. Each SMS service maintains a hard-coded allowlist of authorized phone numbers; messages from any other number are rejected.
Message frequency varies by service and is generally low (typically fewer than ten messages per day). Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier. You can opt out of any SMS service at any time by replying STOP, and you can request information by replying HELP. Once you opt out, your phone number is removed from the allowlist and you will receive no further messages from that service. You can opt back in by replying START.
Mobile opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party or affiliate for marketing purposes.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing. We share information only as necessary to operate the service:
- With telecommunications carriers and Twilio Inc. (our SMS service provider) to deliver and receive messages.
- With Cloudflare, Inc. (our hosting provider) and Amazon Web Services (used for transactional email) for infrastructure.
- When required by law, court order, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
Data Retention
We retain contact form submissions and SMS message logs only as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service and respond to follow-ups. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us at the address below.
Security
We use industry-standard measures (TLS in transit, access controls, hosted infrastructure with audited security practices) to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to minimize risk.
Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes. Material changes will be communicated to active SMS service users via SMS where reasonably possible.
